Open Mind of Insanity asks a strange question: what would we see if we could actually open the mind of madness?
The figure's head has been split open, revealing not emptiness, but an entire universe within. Stars, darkness, and infinite space emerge from behind the face while enormous spiraling forms explode outward, suggesting thoughts, impulses, memories, and realities that refuse to remain contained.
The exaggerated grin and intense eyes make it difficult to decide whether the figure is suffering from the chaos or enjoying it.
That ambiguity is at the heart of the painting.
Perhaps insanity is not an empty or broken mind at all. Perhaps it is a mind overwhelmed by too much, too many thoughts, too many connections, too many realities competing to exist at once.
Swirling oranges and pinks collide with deep black and cosmic blue, while the open skull becomes a doorway between the recognizable human face and something immeasurably larger behind it.
Open Mind of Insanity does not attempt to explain madness. It imagines what it might look like from the inside.
And behind the chaos lies an entire universe.
