Am I begins with a question rather than an answer.
A solitary face emerges from muted layers of dusty rose, green, violet, and earth tones. The half closed eye appears caught somewhere between looking outward and turning inward, while spiraling forms gather beneath the face like thoughts circling without resolution.
The title reduces the question of identity to its simplest form: Am I?
Am I who I believe myself to be? Am I who others see? Am I becoming something different? Or beneath all of the identities, expectations, memories, and stories we accumulate, is there something else entirely?
Rather than answering those questions, Am I leaves the viewer inside them.
This collectible edition is strictly limited to 20 prints worldwide. Each print is personally hand signed and individually numbered 1/20 through 20/20 by Michael J. Thomas and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Khaos Art Studios.
